Egyptian Civilization National Museum, which comprises all manifestations of the richness and diversity that Egyptian civilization has had in various ages, is one of the largest international museums as well as the only one of its type in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa. You'll then head to Pompey's Pillar, the tallest standing pillar in Egypt, built by the people of Alexandria in honor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian.

Next, you'll enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea before visiting the Citadel of Qaitbay, established in 1477 on the site where the legendary Pharos lighthouse once stood. After lunch at a nearby restaurant, you'll continue your tour with visits to the Alexandria Library and the Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque.
